One-Stop-Shop (OSS) in Góra Kalwaria

The One-Stop-Shop (OSS) in Góra Kalwaria is a locally embedded advisory service complemented by the FORTESIE digital marketplace, designed to support citizens and public stakeholders in planning and implementing building renovation measures. It addresses the fragmentation of the renovation process by offering a single access point for information, guidance, and connection to relevant service providers and financing opportunities.

The OSS operates as a hybrid model, where the physical office ensures trust, accessibility, and personalised support, while the online platform enables structured access to solutions, providers, and knowledge.

What does this local OSS do?

At local level, the OSS functions as a free advisory hub for residents and public institutions, supporting them throughout the renovation journey. It provides tailored guidance, helps interpret technical and financial options, and facilitates access to available support schemes.

In practice, the local OSS:

  • offers individual consultations to citizens
  • supports decision-making for energy efficiency improvements
  • assists with documentation and application processes
  • connects users with relevant programmes and service providers

It also plays an important role in local awareness raising and stakeholder engagement, acting as a bridge between the community and the broader FORTESIE ecosystem.

What are the offered services?

The OSS provides a combination of technical, financial, and administrative advisory services, covering both residential and public buildings.

Key services include:

  • energy efficiency and renovation guidance
  • support for accessing national funding programmes (e.g. Clean Air, My Electricity, My Heat)
  • advice on heating systems, insulation, and renewable energy
  • assistance with compliance requirements, including anti-smog regulations
  • support in preparing and submitting documentation

These services are structured into user-oriented pathways, such as residential renovation support and public building optimisation, ensuring clarity and usability for different target groups.

What technologies does it use?

While the OSS does not directly implement technologies, it provides guidance on a wide range of solutions relevant for building renovation, including:

  • thermal insulation (walls, roofs, windows)
  • heating systems (heat pumps, biomass, gas, district heating)
  • renewable energy systems (photovoltaics, solar thermal)
  • smart building management and optimisation tools

In addition, through the FORTESIE framework, the OSS facilitates access to advanced services such as monitoring, verification (M&V), and EPC-related solutions, which are offered by external providers via the platform.

How does it work within FORTESIE?

Within the FORTESIE ecosystem, the Góra Kalwaria OSS operates as the local, human interface, ensuring accessibility, trust, and practical support for users.

At the same time, it is connected to the FORTESIE Online OSS (marketplace), which provides:

  • structured information on solutions and services
  • access to providers and technologies
  • matchmaking and communication functionalities

This hybrid setup ensures that users benefit from both personalised advisory support and digital access to the renovation market, improving uptake and implementation of renovation measures.
