Fundacja BRDA is a nonprofit foundation dedicated to promoting circular-economy principles in architecture, building and design. The Foundation advocates for reuse of building materials and socially conscious, sustainable construction, aiming to reduce waste and support dignified, affordable housing. Through community-driven projects and humanitarian initiatives, we work to turn demolition and surplus building materials into resources - giving them a new life in reconstruction and social-housing efforts. Their philosophy rests on the conviction that architecture and building should be environmentally responsible, socially inclusive, and accessible to all.

OKNO (“Window”) - BRDA collects reclaimed windows from demolitions, renovations, and surplus stock across Poland; then repackages and ships them to NGOs in Ukraine to support home reconstruction after war damage; Charity Auction “Polish Design. Ukrainian Reconstruction” - a fundraising auction of designer works (furniture, decor, art), whose proceeds support OKNO and cover costs of transport and redistribution of reused building materials to Ukraine; Support to flood-affected regions and humanitarian aid — BRDA extends its reuse model beyond war-affected zones: gathering building materials for communities in Poland impacted by floods, helping rebuild housing using reclaimed resources.
